December 22, 1940 - March 11, 2018 James B Pryor Jr. also known as Jim, Uncle Jim, Brother Jim, Chaplain Jim, Rev Jim, Big Jim, Cap, Uncle Cap, Dad, Papa and just plain Pa.

Jim was born to James and Carrie Pryor December 22, 1940, in Nevada, Missouri. Jim passed from this earthly life to a glorious one in heaven March 11, 2018.

Jim is survived by wife Flora, daughter Julie of Oregon City, daughter Terri of Oregon City, and daughter Stephanie of Kettle Falls, Washington. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. There are a lot of in-laws, nieces, and nephews and who knows how many cousins. Also surviving, the last living child of Jim and Carrie, brother Don, also known as Buster or Uncle Buster of Anderson, California.

In 1947 Jim's family moved to Oregon City, Oregon where he grew up a handsome young man. On July 31, 1959 he married a lovely young lady, Flora Garner. Jim and Flora raised a beautiful family. To them it was very important and a constant prayer that each of their children and grandchildren should know the Lord personally and have the knowledge of where they will be spending eternity.

Jim was a member of the Army Reserves (National Guard) and spent his active duty time at Fort Ord in California and at Fort Lewis in Washington. He worked for Crown Zellerbach in paper manufacturing. Jim was a truck driver, mechanic, country singin' preacher, evangelical minister, an evangelist at large from Oregon to Oklahoma and back, a radio evangelist, a chaplain, a funeral director, and a retiree. He excelled as son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and etc. He was loved by all that knew him. Always a witness for the King of Kings and eternal life.

A private graveside internment was held on March 15, 2018 at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City. A Celebration of his life well lived will be held April 21, 2018 at 2:30pm at the Milwaukie Center, 5440 SE Kellogg Dr., Milwaukie, OR
