Jerry Roy Brauer
Jerry Roy Brauer passed
away Tuesday, May 8 of natural
Jerry was born in Portland,
Oregon on January 31, 1929.
He was the oldest son of Roy
and Dorothy Brauer. He is
survived by a brother, Paul F.
Brauer, and sister, Carole I.
Jerry grew up in Portland
and Rockwood. He attended
Benson Polytechnic School, then served with honor in
the US Navy as a gunner's mate seaman during the
Korean War. He worked for Meier and Frank and
Providence Hospital during his career.
Jerry will be remembered for his love of western
and science fiction movies and his model car collection.
His family will recall that his automobiles were always
meticulously waxed and maintained. In his later years,
he enjoyed telling the younger generation about his life
