Scott Matthew TroutSurrounded by his loving family, Scott Matthew Trout passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018 at the age of 48 after bravely battling cancer for three years.

Scott was born on February 14, 1970 in Newberg, Oregon to Bruce and Karlyn Trout. He graduated from Newberg High School in 1988 and then went on to receive an associates degree from Western Oregon State University.

Scott was an enthusiast of the great outdoors and loved hunting and fishing as it was his favorite place to be when time allowed. He was an avid gardener and loved to work on landscaping projects. Scott also enjoyed music and dancing which was something that he enjoyed doing with friends and family at many celebrations over the years. However, Scott's most favorite memories were supporting and watching his children's multiple sporting events. His grandson Jaxon was the apple of his eye and it brought Scott great joy to relive his parenting moments with Jaxon.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandfather Merton Loeks and his grandmother Dorothy Trout.

Scott left us too early. His great love of family and quality moments shared together were important to him. He leaves behind many loving family members. Scott is survived by his wife Brandy, their children Mckenna Trout, Spencer Trout, Gaven Martin, Robert Martin, Riley Martin and his cherished grandson Jaxon Trout. Scott leaves behind his grandmother Wilma Loeks, parents Bruce and Karlyn Trout, brother Ryan Trout (Nikki) and sister Kari Willcuts (Matt). He will be missed very much by his two nieces and four nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Red Hills Church, 115 W 3rd St, Newberg, OR 97132.
