Come to Mississippi Avenue for a summer treat. The Sunlan windows feature Dennis Newell's collection of Star War Legos from now until the last day of August. Bring the family and visitors to enjoy Dennis' collections and creations.

There are the Lego figures and ships that Dennis made with his dad and brother more than 40 years ago. Others came from the older movies and several Star War sets. I kept the collection of Legos until Dennis was an adult. When I asked him what he wanted to do with his childhood treasure, he put some creations together. He was hooked again. He created new Star Wars ships for the window to fly alongside of the movie Star War ships.

The group, Time Based Art, asked him to create more ships to be shown all over the United States. After two years they were returned to Dennis. He added this collection to the windows. Can you identify the ships Dennis created?

After enjoying the windows, come in to select color lights for bedrooms, patio party lights for your yard, Edison style bulbs for the living room, and every other bulb you need in home or business. After perusing the Lego creations, then perhaps take the time to enjoy the eats, treats and treasures along the rest of Mississippi Avenue.
