The first WhiskeyFest NorthWest will take place Saturday, May 11, featuring scores of national and international whiskeys and scotches and signature cocktails among a bevy of activities at the massive space at Northwest 11th Avenue and Northrup Street in the Pearl District.

The Luna Foundation has organized the event to benefit CASA for Children. It’s deemed the largest whiskey festival in the Northwest, and it goes from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 with early purchase and $25 general admission, and it’s clearly an over-21 event (info:

Eclectic music, fine cigars, restaurants, vendor booths, education, Prohibition- and bootlegging-themed lounges and more are part of the festival.

The Luna Foundation, a nonprofit, helps children and families affected by illness or poverty through arts and music.
