From the creators of The Color Run comes Soul Pose, tabbed "The Happiest Yoga on the Planet," at the Expo Center, Dec. 9. It's a blacklight yoga session, led by a local instructor, and it's suited for all levels and ages.

"Happy Gilmore" fans rejoice, Adam Sandler is coming to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Jan. 23.

A former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, Sandler has starred in and made popular movies, and his films have grossed more than $3 billion. He's currently making movies for Netflix, the first three are "The Ridiculous 6," "The Do-Over" and "Sandy Wexler." He's in production on the fourth movie, the Netflix comedy "The Week Of," which co-stars Chris Rock.
The oldies radio station KISN 95.1 FM continues to cruise along, providing listeners with hits from the 1960s and other decades.
Four musical groups are gathering to put on a benefit for the station, which is owned and operated by the Western Oregon Radio Club. The original station hit the airwaves in 1959, and the latest iteration signed on in May 2015.
The "Santa Suits and Go-Go Boots Holiday Party" takes place Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge, 13121 S.E. McLoughlin Blvd. Tickets are $10 per person, $15 for couples. Doors open at 4 p.m., music begins at 6 p.m.
Music will be provided by Ron Ruedi and the Hurricanes, the Hauer Things, the Donettes and the Apollo Four.

Legendary progressive rock band Jethro Tull made its debut Feb. 2, 1968, at the famous Marquee Club in Wardour Street in London and went on to put out "This Was" later in '68, made the flute famous and sold more than 60 million albums.
It's most famous piece: "Aqualung."
To celebrate 50 years, Ian Anderson, founder/frontman/flautist, will present the "50 Years of Jethro Tull" 2018 summer-time concerts. Anderson and Jethro Tull members plan a concert at McMenamins Edgefield, June 9. For tickets/info: www.JethroTull.com.
We'll have listings of holiday events in the next several weeks, but adults take note: There'll be beer served on one night during ZooLights, the Oregon Zoo's walk-through winter wonderland that features more than 1.6 million color lights, 3-D light sculptures and the wonderful animals who live there.
The first-ever BrewLights takes place Nov. 29 for the over-21 crowd. Visitors can sample local beers, wines and ciders. Proceeds from BrewLights admission benefit the zoo's conservation, education and animal welfare programs.
