The 17th annual festival brings local and international bicycle movies to the Hollywood Theatre, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd., May 17-19. Festival passes and individual tickets go on sale March 1 at a free ticket launch party at NW Documentary and online at www.filmedbybike.org.

• There's a film available on Amazon Prime made by Green Studio Productions, a Tigard company. It's called "Waldgeist" and is directed by Brad Burke, a lifelong Oregonian and University of Oregon graduate. It's a supernatural horror film that follows detective and single father David as he tries to unearth the mystery surrounding a cold case. The film, co-produced by Claire Haines (another UO grad), won Best Horror Film at the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
