The big stop on Wednesday for Ducks fans was the official pep rally at the Salt River Flats. Oregon rooters filled a baseball stadium to hear music, along with statements by such illuminaries as Ducks public address announcing legend Don Essig, football color commentator and ex-UO quarterback Mike Jorgensen and former Duck star-turned-Emmy Award winning broadcaster Ahmad Rashad.

The band played, the cheerleaders cheered, and video messages from the likes of football coaches Chip Kelly, Mark Helfrich and Nick Aliotti relayed a message - that the fans are great.

The team's turn comes Thursday, with kickoff at about 5:30 p.m. PT in Glendale.
