Summary: Oregon State figures to have nine returning starters on offense, including kicker, plus eight on defense, including punter

Sophomores Desmond Collins, Lavonte Barnett, Brandon Bennett-Jackson and Akeem Gonzalez and redshirt freshman Noke Tago also are impressive prospects on the line. Plus, OSU is adding junior college tackles Siale Hautau, Edwin Delva and Kyle Peko. All three immediately will be in the mix to start.

Middle: Joel Skotte, sophomore

Sam: * D.J. Alexander, junior

Will: * Michael Doctor, senior

Strong safety: * Tyreque Zimmerman, junior

Free safety: * Ryan Murphy, junior

Cornerback: * Rashaad Reynolds, senior

Cornerback: Sean Martin, senior

Depth: JC transfer Steven Nelson should be immediately in the competition to start at cornerback. Sophomores Peter Ashton and Micah Audiss and redshirt freshmen Cyril Noland-Lewis, Zack Robinson and Kendall Hill at safety and senior Jovan Stevenson, juniors Malcolm Marable and Mishawn Cummings, sophomore Larry Scott and redshirt freshman Tyler Hasty at cornerback will get their shot at rotation spots.
