EUGENE — Oregon State doubled its Pac-12 baseball lead to two games over Oregon on Sunday, beating the host Ducks 12-2 at PK Park.

OSU took two out of three in the weekend series and is knotted at 2-2 for the season with UO going into Tuesday's final regular-season meeting, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Goss Stadium in Corvallis.

The Beavers took control early on Sunday. They got a second-inning grand slam from Michael Conforto that gave them a 6-0 lead.

Conforto also had an RBI double in the ninth and a run-scoring single in the first. He finished with three hits, as did teammates Dylan Davis and Kavin Keyes, with six RBIs.

Ben Wetzler went 6 1/3 innings as he improved to 7-1 this season with his seventh consecutive victory. The left-hander from Clackamas High scattered six hits and gave up two runs, one earned, with six strikeouts and one walk.

Oregon State boosted its record to 43-19 overall and 22-5 in the Pac-12, while the Ducks fell to 43-13, 20-7
