• The Portland Thorns have brought back midfielders Meleana Shim and Nikki Washington added goalkeeper Michelle Betos.

The Houston Dash, who acquired Shim in last week's National Women's Soccer League expansion draft, traded her and Washington back to Portland in exchange for the No. 11 pick in Thursday's NWSL college draft.

The Thorns got Betos from the Boston Breakers in another trade, giving up the No. 34 pick. Betos, 25, played in seven games for Seattle in 2013 while Hope Solo was sidelined by wrist surgery.

Portland drafted two players — defender Emily Menges of Georgetown and forward Elisabeth Sullivan of Mississippi State.

The Seattle Seahawks won't have receiver Percy Harvin in Sunday's NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Harvin has been ruled out because of a concussion he suffered last week versus New Orleans.

Beaverton's Ben Crane blistered the PGA West Nicklaus course with an 8-under-par 64 Friday to move up the leaderboard at the PGA Tour Humana Challenge at La Quinta, Calif.

Crane is tied for 16th after two rounds with a 134, 10-under total. He had eight birdies on Friday.

Patrick Reed leads the 72-hole tournament at 126 after a pair of 63s.

Portland native Peter Jacbosen had a second-round 74 for a 3-over 147 total.
