    Warner Pacific College lost the rebounding battle 51-34 and fell 71-58 to visiting Corban.

    Courtney Walchli was WPC's high scorer with eight points.

    The Knights dropped to 6-21 overall and 2-14 in the CCC.

    Corban improved to 13-16, 8-9.

  • Cavaliers upendedMCCUTCHEON

    Northwest Christian had a 28-8 lead in second-chance points and a 56-11 edge in bench scoring as the Beacons defeated host Concordia 81-74.

    The Cavaliers' Caitlyn McCutcheon scored a game-high 21 points and led all rebounders with 13.

    NCU improved to 81-8 overall and 4-13 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

    Concordia fell to 7-12, 4-12.

  • Pioneers remain fifth in NWC

    Lewis & Clark couldn't jump a spot in the Northwest Conference standings, losing 66-48 on the road to a George Fox team that reached the 20-win mark.

    The Bruins (20-3) jumped to a 36-23 halftime lead and won by holding the Pioneers to 36.0-percent shooting from the field. George Fox shot at a 45.5-percent clip.

    Katie Anderson of L&C led all scorers with 23 points.

    The Pios, however, slipped to 7-7 in league and 12-11 overall. George Fox is 11-3 in the NWC, a half-game behind second-place Whitworth.

    Lewis & Clark trails fourth-place Puget Sound (8-6) by one game.
