  • Ducks get streak going

Oregon picked up its second straight Pac-12 victory, beating Washington 78-71 in Eugene.

Mike Moser, a senior from Grant High, led the Ducks with 20 points. He had a key three-point play with 1:31 remaining that gave Oregon a 76-70 lead.

Oregon improved to 17-8 overall and 5-8 in the Pac-12.

    Washington fell to 14-13, 6-8.

Senior guard Johnathan Loyd clinched the win with two free throws in the final six seconds — and got the 90th victory of his career, a UO record, after tying E.J. Singler for the mark on Sunday against Oregon State.

For the Huskies, Perris Blackwell scored 17 points, Andrew Andrews from Benson High had 15 and Nigel Williams-Goss, formerly of Happy Valley, had 12.

Moser was 8 of 12 from the field and 3 of 3 at the free-throw line. He also had four rebounds, three assists and one block in 28 minutes.
