From the Beavers, first baseman KJ Harrison went in the third round and pitcher Jake Thompson was selected in the fourth round.

From the Ducks, catcher Tim Susnara went in Round 8.

The Milwaukee Brewers took Harrison with the No. 84 overall pick.

The Boston Red Sox went for Thompson with pick No. 132.

The Arizona Diamondbacks grabbed Susnara at No. 232.

Harrison and Thompson had been drafted before, but chose to play college baseball rather than sign a pro contract.

In 2014, Harrison was a 25th-round pick of the Cleveland Indians. In 2013, the Chicago Cubs used a 34th-round choice on Thompson.

Harrison has hit .330 with 39 RBIs and a team-high eight home runs this season for the No. 1-ranked Beavs, who will open College World Series play at noon PT Saturday against Cal State Fullerton.

Thompson is 14-0 and leads the nation in wins. His 1.52 ERA ranks fifth. Over three seasons at OSU, he is 20-6 (2.96).

Susnara, a junior, has batted .248 as a Duck, with seven homers and 57 RBIs and 137 starts in 148 games.

He was chosen in the MLB draft out of high school, when the San Francisco Giants named him in Round 34.
