Boise State wins again

The Broncos, coming off their last-second win at Oregon on a half-court shot, took care of the visiting Pilots on Sunday afternoon.
Boise State improved to 8-1. UP fell to 3-5.
Sophomore swing man Josh McSwiggan led the Pilots with 17 points. Off the bench, senior guard D'Marques Tyson had 10.
The Pilots fell behind early, pulled to within 31-26, then gave up a 9-0 run and trailed 47-29 at the half at Taco Bell Arena.
Portland's next two games are at Chiles Center. The Pilots will face Cal State Fullerton at 7 p.m. Wednesday and San Jose State at 7 p.m. Saturday.

At Seattle, the Pilots dropped their third game in a row, as Washington climbed to 3-3.
Junior guard Darian Slaga paced UP (3-4) with 18 points at Alaska Airlines Arena. She was 8 of 15 from the field.
The Huskies, 15-1 all-time in women's basketball against Portland, led 39-29 at the half and 71-48 through three quarters.
The Pilots will open a five-game homestand at 7 p.m. Friday against Warner Pacific.
