Ducks total 27 runs in doubleheader sweep
OREGON 10, Montana 1

• The No. 6 Ducks won their first game Sunday as Miranda Elish (10-0) tossed a one-hiter.
Then Oregon exploded on offense against Bryant to cap its play in the Oregon Invitational at Jane Sanders Stadium.
Shannon Rhodes' four RBIs led UO against Montana.
In the late game, the Ducks pushed 13 runs across the plate in an eight-hit second inning. Cherish Burks' three-run home run launched the scoring in that inning. She came back with a two-run double later in the frame.
Maggie Balint (6-1) was the winning pitcher.
The Ducks improved to 23-4.
In another Sunday game at Eugene, Weber State beat Bryant, 4-3.
Texas Tech 4, Oregon State 1
• After losing 4-2 to the Beavers on Saturday, the Red Raiders evened the score with their 4-1 victory Sunday morning at Northridge, California.
OSU finished its play in the xxx with a 17-9 season record. Texas Tech is 14-8.
Each team totaled seven hits, but Texas Tech took a 3-0 lead after one inning on two hits and one Beaver error.
Mariah Mazon (10-5) went the distance on the mound for Oregon State, allowing no walks while striking out three.
OSU scored in the third on an RBI single by Shelby Weeks.
Portland State washed out
Two Vikings games on the final day of the Rebel Classic were rained out in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Viks were scheduled to play Washington and host UNLV.
PSU's next games will be on Tuesday in a 3 p.m. doubleheader against Bryant at Gordon Faber Recreation Complex in Hillsboro.

• The visiting Cavaliers broke a 0-0 tie in the nightcap with McKenzie Smith's sixth-inning grand slam, then held on after the Vikings came back with three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Smith also went the distance in the second game, picking up the win on a five-hitter and improving to 5-1.
Concordia is 12-9 overall and 2-2 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
WWU is 7-12, 4-4.
Lewis & Clark 13, WILLAMETTE 3

• L&C scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to take the first game in Salem. Salavea Paige, the Pioneers' first baseman and leadoff batter, went 3 for 4 and scored twice. Ateisha Norton and Frankie Warden each drove in two runs.
In the second game, the host Bearcats scattered five hits and scored in the fifth to earn a Sunday split.
L&C is 5-7 for the season and 4-4 in the Northwest Conference. Willamette is 2-7, 2-4.
