The Crimson Tide score seven runs in the first two innings and Jessica Vice and Jensen Becker combine for six hits and nine RBI's in win

The Tide jumped on the Vikings early and often en route to a 15-1 win, but in spite of the lopsided defeat, head coach Katy Brosig praised her team's patience and fortitude in the face of a formidable opponent.

"We had a game plan and the kids followed it really well," said Brosig. "They get a lot of strikeouts, so we had goal of less than five and the girls all made contact the first time through. I'm proud of them."
