Two pitchers, one outfielder, one infielder and one catcher among White Buffalos' recipients.

The only two pitchers ahead of them — Crook County's McKuenzie McCormick and Gladstone's Madi Mott — will both play collegiately next year.
A mix of seniors and underclassmen led the Madras softball team to an 11-13 record — its best overall record since 2013.

Head coach Shawna McConnell opted not to choose traditional captains this season, instead picking a different two girls before each game to meet with the umpires and opposing teams.

But, with six seniors making up half of the White Buffalos' 12-girl roster, several were more vocal in their leadership than others. One of them was senior Melissa Field.
