Goalie Carter Hart plays strong game with 42 saves as Silvertips top visiting Portland 4-1 on Friday

Carter Hart made 42 saves Friday and the host Everett Silvertips beat the Portland Winterhawks 4-1 in a Western Hockey League game.

Joachim Blichfeld scored a power-play goal in the first period, but Hart stood tall the rest of the night despite some good pressure and chances for Portland.

Dominic Zwerger had a goal and three assists to lead Everett. Patrick Bajkov had a goal and two assists, and Jake Christiansen and Noah Juulsen also scored for the Silvertips.
