Newborn twins keep life busy for Winterhawks associate coach Kyle Gustafson

When he gets a break from working to raise the skill of junior hockey players, Portland Winterhawks associate coach Kyle Gustafson shifts gears — to raising infant twins.

Tonya Gustafson gave birth on Jan. 6 to son Callum and daughter Charlotte. After a couple of weeks in the hospital, the twins went home.

"It's been a real good balance away from the rink as far as coming home and seeing them. It's a new perspective on life," Gustafson says.

Winter is a busy time for hockey coaches.
