Radio station Sunny 1550 KKOV returned Monday to an adult standards format.

The Vancouver, Wash., station is owned by the Pamplin Media Group, which also owns KPAM 860, the Portland Tribune and Community Newspapers. It had been a talk radio format.

Sunny 1550’s new format features songs by Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and Ella Fitzgerald, mixed with contemporary artists like Paul McCartney, Diana Krall and Michael Buble. The weekday program schedule includes Jeff Rollins (5 to 9 a.m.), Carl Hampton (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and John Gleason (3 to 9 p.m.).

The station will also broadcast national and international news from the CBS Radio Network, as well as football and basketball from the University of Washington Huskies and Southwest Washington high school football from the Greater St. Helens League.
