Police searching for two armed robbers

Police are looking for two suspects who robbed the Dotty's Deli at 11926 S.E. Division St. on Thursday evening.

According to police, East Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the business at 7:50 p.m. on Nov. 1.

When the officers arrived, the the victim said that two suspect entered the deli, both armed with handguns. One suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and the other waved it around the deli and demanded people get on the ground.

Both suspect fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed sum of money.

Officers, including a Police K-9 Unit, conducted an extensive neighborhood search for the suspects but did not locate anyone matching their description.

The suspects are described as two males, race unknown. One is described as 6'3", 150 pounds, wearing a dark hoody and a dark bandana over his face. The second is described as 5'9", thin build, wearing a gray or white hoodie and a white mask.
