Head to Portland's annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23.

Portland's Thomas Lauderdale with Pink Martini and friends will lead a community sing-a-long during the tree-lighting ceremony.

Don't forget to bring nonperishable food items to the ceremony for the Oregon Food Bank to collect. Pioneer Courthouse Square is working with Oregon Food Bank to raise $10,000 through collecting donations and its text-to-donate campaign. To get involved in the campaign, text "OFB" to 20222 to donate $10.
