Real Salt Lake was the real deal in the MLS Western Conference finals.

RSL, leading the two-game series 4-2, scored in the first half of game two Sunday night at Jeld-Wen Field, and continued to blank the Portland Timbers.

Result: Real Salt Lake goes to the Dec. 7 MLS title game against Sporting Kansas City, and the Timbers go home, 5-2 losers in the aggregate-goal match-up.
