Portland's Gang Enforcement Team is investigating an early Friday morning shooting outside a Southeast Portland strip club.

Initially, officers were unable to find a shooting victim near the club. However, a short time later, a 21-year-old man was taken to a Portland hospital with a gunshot wound to his face. He was identified as Damariea Ramone Harris, a documented Crip gang member. He was seriously injured in the incident and remains in the hospital.

Portland officers were called at about 12:55 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, to the report of shots fired in the parking lot of the Pitiful Princess, 12646 S.E. Division St. Officers discovered evidence of a shooting but no victims or suspects.

A short time later, officers were notified that Troutdale police had stopped a car that may have been involved in the shooting. The driver, 19-year-old Torrance Alexander Hunter, was taken into custody on a parole violation and booked into the Multnomah County Jail. It is not clear at this point if Hunter was involved in the shooting.

At about the same time as the traffic stop in Troutdale, officers were notified that a man with a gunshot wound had been dropped at a Portland hospital.
