Gramor Development made the announcement Thursday

by: GRAMOR DEVELOPMENT - Here's an architectural rendering of how an entrance into Parkway Village at Sherwood along Langer Farms Parkway will look. Five tenants recently announced they would set up shop at Parkway Village at Sherwood, the new complex that features Walmart as its main anchor store.

Starbucks, Pacific Dental, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, The UPS Store and Vivid Nails will comprise about 10,000 square feet in the new complex, which will run along Tualatin-Sherwood Road and Langer Farms Parkway.

Gramor Development made the announcement Dec. 19. US Bank announced in September that it had loaned Gramor $15.4 million for Parkway Village at Sherwood.

The complex is co-owned by the Langer family.

“This is a really exciting project for us and the Langer family,” Barry Cain, president of Gramor Development, said in a press release.

Cain said the total project value would exceed $50 million. Construction on Walmart has already begun, and the superstore — along with the five other tenants — are expected to open in 2014.

Those first six tenants are expected to employ more than 300 people and the entire plaza could bring up to 600 new jobs to Sherwood, Gramor officials have said.
