TriMet says MAX service was fully restored around 4 p.m. Monday after a disruption that began before noon.

An electrical substation went down late Monday morning, leading to the power outage and disrupting all downtown MAX traffic.

The regional transit agency provided shuttle buses to supplement regular bus service to move riders between Rose Quarter Transit Center, Old Town/Chinatown and Goose Hollow while repairs were made.

Shuttle were then expanded to serve all stations from the Kings Hill MAX Station to Gateway Transit Center.

The outage was first reported at 11:37 a.m. on May 12.
