The video, shot from the Oregon Health & Sciences University building in South Waterfront, compresses three years of construction into just 1 minute and 36 seconds. It starts with pre-construction staging on the banks of the Willamette River on May 18, 2011, and continues for 1,162 days to July 23, 2014.

The video can be seen at:

The bridge is part of the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Transit Project. It is the first bridge to be built over the Willamette River in Portland in more than 40 years. It is also the first of its kind multi-modal bridge in the U.S. that will carry MAX light rail and streetcar trains, buses, bicyclists and pedestrians, but no private vehicles. And it is the first cable-stayed bridge for the region, extending 1,720 feet over the river.
