A roundup of police reports and incidents in King City, from Jan. 10 through Feb. 8.

Jan. 10

Police took a report of a stolen golf cart charging cable that was attached to a golf cart parked in a car port on King Arthur Street.

Jan. 12

Police were dispatched to the King City Plaza to take a report of several items being stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Jan. 16

A good Samaritan turned in a found wallet. The officer returned the lost wallet to its owner.

Jan. 18

Police arrested a Portland resident on an outstanding arrest warrant. The man was contacted by police after he ran across Highway 99W obstructing traffic. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail on the warrant.

Police took a report of an Oregonian newspaper box being stolen overnight from Fischer Road near Southwest 126th Ave.

Jan. 19

Grocery Outlet reported shoplifting. Police checked the area but did not find the suspect.

Jan. 21

Police responded to a Mountain View Mobile Estates call to take a report of a theft from a vehicle. The vehicle's back window was smashed by a cinder block. Personal items were taken from the vehicle.

Jan. 22

Police were dispatched to a traffic crash at Beef Bend Road and 131st Ave. There were no injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Jan. 29

Police took a report that an unknown person had stolen a rear license plate that belonged to someone's vehicle and replaced it with an unknown license plate. The unknown plate was returned to DMV by police. The other plate was entered as stolen in the law enforcement database.

Jan. 30

Shari's Restaurant reported a person left without paying for a meal. Police are reviewing video provided by Shari's.

Jan. 31

Police arrested a King City man after a traffic stop on Royalty Parkway on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants-Alcohol and Careless Driving. The man was cited with a court date and released to his brother.

Feb. 1

Police took a report of hit and run. Sometime overnight a man's vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle and at an unknown location.

Feb. 3

Police were dispatched to Mountain View Mobile Estates on the report of a traffic crash. Police made contact with the driver, who lives in the mobile estates. Police administered field sobriety tests to the driver. He was placed under arrest on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants-Alcohol. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail.

Feb. 7

Police impounded a vehicle after a traffic stop on Fischer Road. The driver's Oregon Driver license was suspended.

Feb. 8

Police assisted Washington County Sheriff's office with a case regarding harassment. The King City officer interviewed both parties and arrested a Beaverton resident on the charge of Harassment and Unlawful Entry into a vehicle. The man was lodged at the Washington County Jail.

A bike was found in the bushes along the pathway in the King City Park. The bike was well-worn and no serial number was located on the bike. The officer stored the bike for safe keeping at the police department.
