by: ERIC NORBERG - Sellwood bridge shiftWe have received several requests from readers to show the empty piers where the Sellwood Bridge used to be supported – as well as a clear shot showing where the old bridge is now, with respect to those piers. This is that view. The old piers are the concrete stubs at center, but they won’t be removed altogether till next summer. Meantime, the bridge’s new path is at the far right. This photo looks westward from the Sellwood shoreline.
