by: ART BY STEVE JOHANNSEN - Local artist Steve Johannsen has created a series of 13 Nights posters over the years, including this year's fiery art. After a turbulent winter, which included the resignation of the entire former 13 Nights board, the new group behind the popular summer concert series has pulled together a full lineup of bands, musicians and singers.

Beginning June 6 with The Jim Mesi Band, a Portland blues and surf band, the concert series will continue with Britnee Kellogg, Paus 456, Jackstraw, Sweetwater Band, The Get Ahead, The New Iberians, Michael Allen Harrison, Hit Machine and Count the Ants, Sweet Baby James, Lulu LaFever and the Hot Tamales, The Steve Hale Trio and will end with Jujuba on Aug. 29.

New director Christina Sullivan has put out a call for volunteers. The group is looking for people interested in helping in a variety of ways, from manning the beer garden to helping out as ticket takers. Anyone interested in helping for several nights or for the whole season, or anyone interested in being a vendor at the events, contact volunteer and vendor coordinator Kate Anicker at This email address is being protected from spambots.
