With a theme of giving thanks to 'Heroes and Volunteers' the annual Kiwanis Community Parade in St. Helens is preparing to return this month.

Starting at noon on June 23 participants in the popular event, sponsored by Pacific Stainless Products and Columbia River PUD, will travel through the streets of St. Helens as residents cheer them on. In preparation, organizers are putting out a plea for entries from people interested in joining the parade.

There is no fee to enter and all are invited to download the registration form at, or pick one up at the St. Helens City Hall or the Chamber of Commerce.

You have until 10:30 a.m. on the day of the parade to sign up.
