AntFarm fundraising helps it pay its way

The AntFarm Outdoors program will offer fresh vegetables for sale at the Sandy Saturday Market, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first and third Saturday of each month in Centennial Plaza.

The vegetables are the produce of the Sandy community garden, which is the responsibility of youths in the AntFarm programs.

At the AntFarm booth in the farmers market, the young people also will distribute information on their recycling program, which is a significant fundraiser for the nonprofit organization.

Donated cans and bottles with collectable deposit are being accepted at the AntFarm Outdoors building, 38600 Proctor Blvd., near Scales Avenue.
