Local auto group hosted Rose City Corvettes Cruise-In during Sandy Mountain Festival weekend

POST PHOTO: BRITTANY ALLEN - Multiple entrants spruced up their rides with some thematic decorations. Characters from all over Oregon came to show off their cars at the Rose City Corvette Summer Cruise-In on Saturday, July 8. The Sandy Mountain Festival event, held at Suburban Ford, 37000 Highway 26, drew in quite a crowd.

POST PHOTO: BRITTANY ALLEN - Cars came in all colors, years and models, allowing for everyone a variety from which to choose a favorite. Years, colors and models varied across the lot, allowing for everyone who attended to have a favorite, and entrants not only got to promote their own vintage vehicles, but they also got to judge others.

POST PHOTO: BRITTANY ALLEN - Guests visited with participants throughout the event to learn more about their dream cars.For their registration, participants received a dash plaque, a commemorative T-shirt and a goody bag.

Food and live music were also available to enjoy, and raffle prizes for rewards, such as one blue and white custom 2017 Ford Mustang coupe, were sold throughout the day.

POST PHOTO: BRITTANY ALLEN - Several entrants displayed their cars so visitors could admire the mechanics of their vehicles, and not just the paint job. All proceeds from the event will benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
