Police say robber came back and robbed store a second time.

A Tigard coffee bar has been robbed for the second time in two weeks, and police suspect both robberies might have been commited by the same man.

Police were called to the drive-thru Black Rock Coffee Bar at 15290 S.W. Pacific Highway in Tigard at about 7:35 p.m. Nov. 7, after a man wearing a bandana over his face climbed in through the kiosk’s drive-thru window.

The man pulled out a gun and demanded money from the barista, then ran out of the store.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police describe the man as 5-feet 8-inches tall and medium build, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and dark pants.

Tigard Police and a K-9 search team scoured the area, but the man was not found.

The coffee shop was robbed two weeks ago in a similar way.

Police were called to the kiosk on Saturday, Oct. 27, after a man in a mask climbed through the coffee shop’s drive-up window, pulled out a large knife and demanded money from the cash register.

Anyone with information regarding either incident is urged to contact Tigard Police at 503-718-2576 or via email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Local residents are planning to show their support for the kiosk with a 'cash mob' event Nov, 18.
