The Oregon Department of Transportation is making a stop in Tualatin Thursday to invite public feedback. Its focus will be passenger rail service between Portland and Vancouver, Wash. ODOT aims to optimize train schedules, future station locations, travel times and general overall service.

Last year, more than 800 previous public comments helped ODOT focus its ongoing Oregon Passenger Rail Study, and inspired the state agency to schedule an additional six open house-style public meetings.

The ODOT meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Tualatin Police Department Community Room, 8650 SW Tualatin Road.
