Tualatin woman arrested after police pursuit down Highway 99W
Tigard police said they arrested a Tualatin woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants Friday evening after she led officers on a pursuit along Highway 99W.
Police apprehended Christine Foe, 37, after her vehicle jumped a curb and crashed into two parked vehicles at Oregon Auto Center, 17835 S.W. Pacific Hwy. in Tualatin, they said. No injuries were reported.
According to police, at about 6:25 p.m. Friday, an employee at an unidentified restaurant in Tigard reported an intoxicated patron and asked for police assistance in removing her from the premises, and when an officer arrived on-scene and found Foe in a parked vehicle outside the restaurant, she sped off. Police reportedly pursued her southbound on Highway 99W from Tigard into Tualatin but were unable to bring her vehicle to a complete stop before the crash.
Foe faces a DUII charge as well as charges of attempting to elude police, reckless driving and reckless endangerment. She was lodged in the Washington County Jail.
