The Tualatin girls will play a key league game at Glencoe Friday

HILLSBORO — The Tualatin High School girls basketball team bounced back from a two-game losing streak to score a pair of impressive victories.

The Timberwolves got the second of those wins on Tuesday, when they rolled to a 69-43victory over Century in a Pacific Conference game played at Century High School.

With the win, Tualatin upped its overall record to 8-7 while improving to 4-2 in Pacific Conference play, putting the Wolves alone in third place in the league standings, two games back of pace-setting Tigard and one game behind second-place Glencoe.

Senior guard Britta Hall led the way for Tualatin in Tuesday’s win at Century with 17 points. Junior post Savannah Heugly added 15 points. Junior guard Lindsay Barrow had nine points and junior post Jasmine Miller scored eight.

Prior to the win at Century, the Wolves posted a 63-36 victory over Hillsboro in a league game played Friday at Tualatin High School.

Tualatin will be back in action Friday when it travels to Glencoe for a key league game set to start at 5:45 p.m. On Tuesday, the Wolves will travel to Forest Grove for a 7:15 p.m. league tilt.
