Community deserves thanks for its support of family's search for missing son

Family thanks Woodburn community for search effort

We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the Woodburn community during our time of need. Our son Christian was missing for 3 1/2 days in Silver Falls State Park and over 250 volunteers came out and helped us search for him.

There were friends, family, firefighters from near and far and even strangers who tirelessly gave their time and effort to help bring closure for our family. There are no words to express our gratitude for their monumental efforts.

During the search, we received many donations of water, food and supplies and would like to specifically thank: Woodburn Fire District, Woodburn Safeway Produce Department, Woodburn Safeway Starbucks, Woodburn Dutch Bros, Karen Jensen, Stacy Oglesby, Cindy Wurdinger-Kelly, Liz and Tony Waite and Bernadette Krewson.

In addition, a huge thanks to Jon and Lynn Koenig, Scott and Jean Mateson, and Gary and Dalynn Patterson for all of their generous support.

We feel honored to be part of such a supportive and caring community. Thank you to all of you!

The Jacobucci Family
