Event commemorating new path next to LOT facility between Mapleton, Kenthorpe open to public

LOT will unveil a new pedestrian pathway between Mapleton Drive and Kenthorpe Way during a barbeque dinner event Aug. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The pathway is located on the south side of the LOT water treatment plant and residents are advised to either walk or bike to the event, as parking is limited.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at about 5:30 p.m., followed by the barbeque and giveaways and activities for kids. LOT will also offer tours of the new water treatment plant.
