by: MATTHEW SHERMAN - West Linn's Hanna Morford tosses in one of her three goals during last week's lopsided victory over Lakeridge. The West Linn girls lacrosse team put together a dominating performance against an improved Lakeridge squad on Friday, burying the Pacers in the first half en route to a 15-5 win.

The Lions did virtually anything it wanted on offense for much of the game and was incredibly efficient on its shots.

West Linn scored quickly and, on defense, created turnovers and made it difficult for Lakeridge to get off clean shots.

Hanna Morford and Jazmine Agcaoili each had hat tricks in the game. Morford was particularly strong all evening, notching game highs in assists, with two, along with draws captured with five.

Annie Longtain and Mariah Gatti each had two goals and an assist in the game.

West Linn then went on to beat Canby 17-1 on Tuesday, having similar success on offense. Thirteen different players scored for the Lions and no player had more than two goals.

Carli Wilson had a goal and two assists to lead the Lions with three total points in a game that the Lions dominated from start to finish.

West Linn will play Clackamas on Thursday and will take on a surprising Oregon City team on Monday that recently shocked Lake Oswego 10-8.
