The annual golf event is a fundraiser that benefits the West Linn boys lacrosse team

The annual Lions Lacrosse Links Benefit is coming to Langdon Farms Golf Club on Oct. 14.

The event, a benefit for the West Linn boys lacrosse program, includes green fees for the 18-hole scramble tournament, range balls, a golf cart, lunch, one drink ticket, tee prizes, dinner and two raffle tickets, plus the chance to win closest to the pin, long drive and team score prizes.

The cost to play is $125 per person and players can sign up at For those that aren't available or aren't golfers, there are still ways to participate, including sponsoring a hole ($150), donating items for the raffle or auctions (silent and verbal), or coming for dinner only ($25) — brisket barbeque chicken.

The event opens with registration at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 14, followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. and the dinner, awards, raffle and auctions at 6:30 p.m.
