Wilsonville High School puts on comedic play
Six young people, striving to become actors in New York City, live above the apartment of a Broadway producer in the 1940s comedy "Out of the Frying Pan." Wilsonville High School Director Jason Katz chose this spring play for the students because of the comedic situations the struggling actors find themselves in.
The three males and three females spy on the producer through a hole in the floor and try to coax him into their apartment to put on a play for him.
Students were split up into two casts and each will perform four times. "Out of the Frying Pan" will be in the WHS auditorium May 17,18,19, 24, 25, 26 at 7 p.m. There will be two matinees at 2 p.m. May 19 and 26.
